There's a way to do it, albeit not quite user friendly over here http://forum.xda-developers.com/meizu-mx/general/tutorial-change-region-id-to-t3323883 which I would suggest to use with Putty just like the op of this thread did as a  touch screen ain't the best thing to use terminals on, for instructions on how to get putty running click this

Of course it's at the user own risks to try it, and only do so if you know what you're doing as it's not free of risks.
